A rising artist in the impressionist art scene has been practicing contemporary Art for around 30 years with unusual ideas and concepts in my painting. Born in India, Payyannur is in the state of Kerala. I studied at the Kerala School of Arts in Thalaserry, India, and I permanently set up an art gallery in Thalassery. I moved to Kuwait in 1989, now settled in Oman with my family, and continue with art demonstrations, teaching, and exploring both online and offline platforms.

Ever since moving to Kuwait, my painting subject has undergone a transformation. So still paints in the modern art style, creating different textures using acrylic, oil, and watercolor in various mediums. The materials used are not the only things that have changed; everything from the composition surrounding me to the consumer culture is different, which has inspired me to use stronger colors than previously used.

When I was in college, had started showcasing my works at many group exhibitions in various places in India, and a few years later at multiple shows around the Middle East. I have always been lauded for my versatility and Arab culture-inspired art skills.
